Course Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for you to gain an academic practice-based qualification if you are working in the children and young people’s workforce.

This Foundation Degree is ideal for those working in Children’s Social Care, Children & Young People’s Workforce, early years, play or youth
work, Youth Offending Team, a Pupil Referral Unit or as a childminder.

The degree is delivered one day a week either during the day or a twilight session during term time, with occasional Saturdays.

This full time degree is work-based and designed so that students can work alongside their studies.

You must be working or volunteering for at least 10 hours a week in a relevant setting. You’ll be required to attend weekly taught sessions during term time.

These sessions will be small group seminars and lectures normally held at Dillington House or Kilve Court, depending on demand.

You’ll receive a combination face to face and email tutorial support throughout the course.
